PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST TO THE GLBTS COMMUNITY.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)

The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me, To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV)

Welcome to the official site of the Pride Church International , we welcome you to explore these pages in so doing we hope that you will come to much closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The PCI as you can tell is a Inclusive welcoming Independent Orthodox-Catholic Jurisdiction meaning that we believe in a liturgical worship when compared to scriptures which can be found in the three creeds (The Apostle’s, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds) of the Universal Catholic Church and this was what it meant to be truly catholic. . This as nothing to do with being or wanting to be affiliated the Church of Rome at all or SCOBA churches.

The Pride Church International  welcomes all that believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that are looking for new place to call their home to be a part of us, we are Orthodox-Catholic, in that we adhere to the three creeds of the Church and the Seven Sacraments Baptism and Holy Communion ( The Eucharist), Confirmation (Chrismation), Marriage (Holy Matrimony), Anointing of the Sick ( Holy Unction) , Reconciliation (Confession), and Ordination (Holy Orders), and yes we maintain the historical apostolic succession also.

We in the PCI want to show ourselves as a place of unconditional love, compassion, mercy and charity within our ministries, which embraces every human being regardless of their state or condition in life for Jesus Christ said in the Gospel of Matthew that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:39), we would like consider ourselves as a spiritual hospital to those who have been hurt or bruised by this cruel and inhuman world. We like many great leaders of the Christian Church realize our faith is built upon the work that was done on the Golgotha (Calvary), where our Lord and Savior where he was crucified, and three days later was resurrected to show his Glory once and for all. We also believe in the working of the Holy Spirit with in our lives every day and allowing God to transform us, one person at a time, one day at time, and one minute at a time. For we are a work in progress by the one that is most important that is God himself.

Services are an Inclusive Anglo-Orthodox Catholic Rite.

We have one Archdiocese and one diocese, both are looking to expand their Ministries within the GLBTS communities. We are looking for qualified individuals both men and women that would like to work within these ecclesiatical territories that Pride Church International has setup.

A Sacramental Church

The Orthodox Church recognizes and practices Seven Sacraments as channels of God's grace by which we share in the Divine Life of God Himself for our salvation. The New Testament records eitherthe institution by our Lord, or the practice of the All Holy Apostles, of every Sacrament except Matrimony. This was created a Sacrament by the Presence of Christ our Lord at the wedding of Cana.

Baptism
makes one a Christian, and through this sacrament we begin a new life in God, becoming His Children and members of His Body.(Matt 28:19; John 3,5).

Chrismation

(in the Western churches called Confirmation) gives a new life by the gift of the Holy Spirit. In this Sacrament we are anointed with sacred chrism(oil consecrated by a bishop) and become one of the priesthood of all believers.(Acts 8:14 -17).

Absolution(Confession; Penance
reclaims those who have fallen from grace after Baptism, and through which our sins are forgiven.
(Matt 16:19, 18:18).

Eucharist(Holy Communion)
, unites our individualities with God as the Human and Divine Natures were prefiguratively united by Incarnation. In this Sacrament we partake actually and truly of the Body and Blood of Christ for the nourishment of our souls, our bodies and for eternal life (Matthew 26:26 - 29).

Holy Orders (Ordination)
are the means whereby the Church conducts its work. In this Sacrament the grace of God descends in the laying on of hands of an Apostolic Bishop upon the one being set apart. This rite is recorded several times in Scripture, and as practiced by the Orthodox Church has provided an uninterrupted succession from the very ministry of the Apostles. (John 15:16, II Timothy1:6).

Holy Unction
is clearly referred to as in practice by the Apostles during our Lord's own ministry. Certainly it would not have been practiced except by His Ordinance. In this Sacrament we receive prayers and anointing with blessed oil for the healing of infirmities of both the soul and body.(Mark 6:14, James 5:14).

Marriage/Holy Union
is the Scarament which joins two people in a Holy Union before God. As Christ by His Presence blessed the marriage in Cana (John 2:1-10).
